Adventurous Alpines Off-road Tours
Greece
The Volkswagen T4
Westfalia California Syncro 4x4 is of course the
ultimate campervan to discover the off the beaten roads and tracks.
Driving the T4 Syncro is like driving a normal car, it is equally
suitable for
motorway cruising, small mountain and country roads as well as city
centre
parking.
The four wheel drive is completely automatic: driving on normal roads the
torque is distributed for largest part to the front wheels. Whenever
driving
on wet, muddy or snow covered roads or loose ground the traction is
automatically redistributed between the front and rear wheels.
For more demanding situations there is even a differential lock
available.
Although this campervan is not an extreme offroader, using common sense
it is capable driving an average (mountain)track.
Equipped with both aircon and heating, the campervan is
always a
comfortable car to drive with.
Also the compact high roof contributes to the comfort , providing a light
and
spacious cabin. The front seats, with armrests, swivel round to face the
table. The rear seat can be flattened to create a bed for two. You have
to
bring your own bedding, though.
Cooking utensils, cutlery and plates are present, as well as a 40 litres
fridge
with freezing capacity, 2 burner hob, sink+warm water and chairs and table
to sit outside. Also an outside shower(warm water) is available.
The awning can be turned out easily.
