A brief summary:
During this 9 day tour we will visit the seaside town Paralio Astros with its
small port and many tavernas along the seafront. Along a long beach we walk to the Moustos wetland with its special flora and fauna. Visit Loukous monastery. We will also visit the well known archeological site of Mycene.    A visit to the, originally Venetian, town of Nafplion is another highlight of this tour.
An offroad tour will bring us up the Parnon mountains through old chestnut forests, scenic mountain villages to our hotel offering panoramic views of
Mt Taygetos. Here you will stay the coming 4 nights.
The first day here brings us offroad along the slopes of Mt Taygetos to the old Byzantine city of Mistras.
The second day we will visit the Mani peninsula, driving down to Cape Tenaro
and walk to the lighthouse. Returning along the west coast, we will come pass the village of Vathia with its typical tower houses.
Day 7 we will cross Mt Taygetos to the west coast.
Day 8 we will return to Anigraia, taking the road through the southern Parnon
mountains we will visit the scenic mountain village of Kosmas and the
Elonis monastery. From the town of Leonidio we take the road along the
east coast back to Anigraia.



Accommodation
You will stay in one of the apartments of Anigraia, a group of traditional built
stone houses with swimming pool.
All apartments have 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sitting room with fire place and TV, internet, open plan kitchen, balcony and air conditioning.
Along the swimming pool there are deck chairs available to enjoy the view.
The complex is situated in quiet environs, near the town of Astros and a
5 minutes drive from the beach at Paralio Astros, east coast Peloponnese.
Day 4, 5, 6 and 7 you stay in a hotel offering panoramic views of Mt Taygetos.
