A brief summary:
The focus of this tour is the flora of Mt Parnon, Mt Taygetos,  Mt Killini and Mt Chelmos.
During a walk on a plateau close to the summit of Mt Parnon we may find flowering Viola parnonia. On the summit grow Asperula boissieri,
Sideritis clandestina and endemic Astragalus agraniottii.
On the west side of Parnon Juniperus drupacea grows in its only station in Europe.
Following minor roads we will drive in the direction of Sparta and our hotel for a 2 nights stay at the base of Mt Taygetos. During a walk up to Profitis Ilias, Taygetos highest summit at 2404m, we can see Daphne oleoides, Crocus sieberi, Saxifraga marginata, Verbascum acaule, Gypsophila nana and Rindera graeca.
From our hotel at the base of Mt Chelmos we will drive up the higher parts of this mountain to make a walk down to the Mavroneri waterfall. According to Greek mythology this is the Styx valley, where the dead were ferried over the Styx river into the Hades underworld.
On Mt Chelmos we can find on the higher parts Minuartia stellata, Aster ailpinus,  Verbascum acaule. During our walk to the Mavroneri waterfall we also will see Gentiana verna and Pinguicula hirtiflora, and we will bring you to
the spot where Aquilegia ottonis ssp ottonis will be flowering.
Along tracks we can encircle Mt Killini, here we can find Crocus sieberi,
Ranunculus brevifolius, Viola graeca.
We also have time to visit the nice town of Nafplion and the archeological site of Mycene. Next to this we will make a nice tour to the onto a rock face wedged monastery of Prodromos and the village of Doliana, where we will have a traditional meal.

Accommodation
You will stay in one of the apartments of Anigraia, a group of traditional built
stone houses with swimming pool.
All apartments have 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sitting room with fire place and TV, internet, open plan kitchen, balcony and airconditioning.
Along the swimming pool there are deck chairs available to enjoy the view.
The complex is situated in quiet environs, near the town of Astros and a
5 minutes drive from the beach at Paralio Astros, east coast Peloponnese.
Day 4 and 5 you will stay in a nice hotel offering panoramic views of
Mt Taygetos. Day 7 you will stay in a hotel close to Mt Chelmos.
