Especially during autumn there is much to enjoy: comfortable temperatures
very few tourists, you are practically alone and can totally relax!
You will also appreciate the general mood which lies over the island at this
time of the year.
There are places to camp for free everywhere, especially with this camper
you have unrivalled chances to go off the beaten track!
During winter some camping grounds are open, though.
For people who want to stay for the winter period it is a big advantage to
take your 'home' where ever you go.
But why not come for a journey around Christmas and New Year? Just to
escape the long dark northern winter, you will return home with new energy!

Early spring is another outstanding period for a visit to Crete.
March and April are special: large parts of Crete have turned into a flower
paradise! There are many orchids and other beautiful species everywhere.

For plant enthusiasts
For the real plant and bulb enthusiast, late October and November are
  worthwhile too. This is the time of the autumn flowering bulbs like:
  Crocus oreocreticus, Crocus tournefortii, Crocus laevigatus,
  Colchicum cretense, Colchicum cupanii, Colchicum pusillum,
  Cyclamen hederifolium, Narcissus serotinus.
  November and December even Iris planifolia and the very rare
  Androcymbium rechingeri can be found!
Because we are specialised in the mountain flora of Greece, we very much
  want to invite (mountain) flora and plant enthusiasts to hire our campervan
  and this way get an impression of the beauties of this island.
  Because of our expertise we can show you where to go, or even guide you
  on (mountain) walks and explorations.
