A brief summary:
The focus of this tour is the flora of Mt Parnon, Mt Saitas and Mt Chelmos.
Especially the flora of Mt Saitas is interesting in this time of the year, here we can find Biebersteinia orphanidis, Adonis cyllenea and, the as a new species described, Iris hellenica in flower. Also Fritillaria mutabilis, Orchis pallens, Anemone nemerosa, Viola mercurii flower in this period.
During a walk on a plateau close to the summit of Mt Parnon we may find flowering Fritillaria graeca, Crocus sieberi, Corydalis, Viola parnonia,  Ornithogalum sibthorpii, Anemone. On the summit grow Asperula boissieri,
Sideritis clandestina and endemic Astragalus agraniottii.
On the lower slopes we can see Tulipa orphanidea, Astragalus angustifolius and several orchid species. On the west side of Parnon Juniperus drupacea
grows in its only station in Europe.
From our hotel at the base of Mt Chelmos we will drive up the higher parts of this mountain to make a walk down to the Mavroneri waterfall. According to Greek mythology this is the Styx valley, where the dead were ferried over the Styx river into the Hades underworld.
On Mt Chelmos we can find Dactylorhiza sambucina, Orchis spitzelii, Linum elegans, Cyclamen peloponnesiacum and on the higher parts Minuartia stellata, Crocus sieberi, Scilla bifolia, Aubrieta deltoidea, Verbascum acaule,
Solenanthus stamineus. During our walk to the Mavroneri waterfall we also will see Gentiana verna and Pinguicula hirtiflora.
We also have time to visit the nice town of Nafplion and the archeological site of Mycene. Next to this we will make a nice tour to the onto a rock face wedged monastery of Prodromos and the village of Doliana, where we will have a traditional meal.

Accommodation
You will stay in one of the apartments of Anigraia, a group of traditional built
stone houses with swimming pool.
All apartments have 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sitting room with fire place and TV, internet, open plan kitchen, balcony and airconditioning.
Along the swimming pool there are deck chairs available to enjoy the view.
The complex is situated in quiet environs, near the town of Astros and a
5 minutes drive from the beach at Paralio Astros, east coast Peloponnese.
Day 7 and 8 you will stay in a hotel at the base of Mt Chelmos.
